There are many famous and world heritage site and Temple here Pashupatinath, Boudha, Swayambhunath, Daxinkali, Patan Darbar Square, The City is considered the gateway to the Nepalese Himalayas. Historic areas of Kathmandu were severely damaged by Earthquake in April 2015. Some of the buildings have been restored and some remain in the process of reconstruction
